Chef Nicole was wonderful to work with. She planned a delicious Thanksgiving menu for our family and friends. She arrived when she said she would and took over my kitchen to prepare the meal. Portions were more than generous and we all raved about how good each item on the menu was. I have lots of leftovers in my fridge for at least 2 more meals for my husband and I. Fantastic service! I was interested in chef services for a gathering at my home and received several bids within an hour of submitting my request. The chef we chose was outstanding. He went above and beyond to incorporate into his menu proposal changes I needed at the last minute. He adhered to my schedule to the minute for dinner service that evening. This was my first time using a private chef and Chef Tiya knocked it out the park we had the 4 course meal with Appetizers: Crab cake medallions, salad, and I added Stuff shrimp. For the main course salmon with veggies did not come short of anything it was amazing. Even her signature desert 🤤 I would definitely recommend Using table at home and use chef Tiya she’s the best in my opinion.

We were looking for a private chef for a dinner party to celebrate my 60th birthday. We received 3 quotes and chose one after reading reviews and menu suggestions. I think any of the 3 would have been wonderful. We were very pleased with the communication and our chef showed up with plenty of time, prepared a delicious 3 course meal with passed hors d’oeuvres. The helper served drinks to our 16 guests, they served the meal and they cleaned up afterwards. A fantastic way to throw a dinner party.

Table at Home is a great platform for selecting and hiring a chef to cook in your home. I knew I wanted a professional chef to prepare an elevated dinner in our home for my husband's 70th birthday, but I didn't know where to begin until I landed on Table at Home in a Google search. I posted a request on the platform, specifying my price range and what kind of meal I wanted. In no time I received several proposals, including suggested menus, from area chefs. I liked how Table at Home allowed me to communicate with these chefs to determine who would best meet my expectations without disclosing personal contact info, and vice versa. Personal contact information is not shared until you have accepted a proposal, at which point a booking fee is charged. My only complaint is about tech support. I contacted tech support for help when my booking fee was charged twice--the chef sent me a revised menu proposal after I'd already accepted the first. I never received a reply from tech support, which is why I'm rating Table at Home a 4 instead of 5. The duplicate charge remained pending, however, and neveractually went through. All in all, an excellent service which allowed me to find a first-rate chef for my special event--which was a hige success .

We had an incredible brunch experience with Chef Jordan! He prepared a delicious spread for my husband and me, and from start to finish, his kindness and passion for nourishing food shone through. Chef Jordan clearly cares about how food fuels our bodies, and every dish he made was not only flavorful but felt thoughtfully crafted. We especially loved the vegetable frittata, breakfast potatoes, and fruit compote – they were absolutely perfect! Talking with him added a special touch to the meal, making the entire experience feel personal and memorable. We highly recommend Chef Jordan for anyone looking for a wonderful and nutritious dining experience at home!

Chef Julian was top notch. We love French food and have tried every French restaurant in dc and a few in va. Chef Julian s lobster bisque. Dover sole frissee salad roasted potatoes and French cut green beans with fresh dressings and sauces were all absolutely mouth watering. Definitely calling him again!!! Super talented

I used Table at Home to book a private chef for a dinner celebrating my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary in San Diego. Not being from San Diego it was really useful to find a resource for local chefs. My experience was fantastic and while we received over 10 proposals very quickly after posting our request, we ultimately chose chef Adam Webb and had an amazing dinner! The booking was easy and communicating directly with the chefs was really useful. I had some tricky palettes to deal with and was able to tweak menus and work with chef Adam’s team directly to finalize the details. My family has been talking about the experience nonstop ever since!

Our experience with Shawn and Cindy left no doubt in our minds about having made the correct decision for our At Home 80th birthday Celebration for 10 attendees.Shawn was very communicative in planning the event and was exceedingly open to suggestions. He answered our questions promptly and left us feeling confident that our even would really happen.Well, it did. Shawn and Cindy arrived exactly at the appointed hour and began working immediately. Some of the preparation had been done in their kitchen prior to the event and some were cooked freshly in our kitchen. The dishes we selected were all served on time, at the right temperature by a smiling Cindy.The entire evening went like clockwork, the food was delicious, Shawn explained each dish to our guests mentioning where the ingredients were raised or grown and how they were prepared and all had a wonderful experience. We had also asked Shawn to let us know what wines would best pair with our menu which he did. The wines were also well received by our guests.To finish off the night Shawn and Cindy entirely cleaned our kitchen including all service dishes and meal dishes and only left a few drinking glasses that would not fit in the dishwasher.When you get Shawn's proposal, SAY YES!

He has also cooking for some quite well known people - having been a sous chef at 2 Royal Palaces - Kensington and Buckingham. His style is classic European with a Eastern twist, and he has a real passion for rich sauces.
