About Me

Hello,
I am a very well rounded chef that has been in the industry for 15 plus years. I have spent the last 9 years as a chef managing restaurants around San Diego. I have every strong core of culinary fundamentals and am extremely passionate about creating new and fresh ideas but prefer to stay within the parameters of what is commonly familiar. I have a very diverse background of different ethnic cuisines, as well as levels of execution. I spent my first 6 1/2 years learning under multiple styles from dozens of chefs and mentors at a very prestigious resort in San Diego including 18 months having worked in the signature AAA 4 Diamond Italian Restaurant. I have also successfully managed a health driven fast casual restaurant that served well over 1,000 guests per day. I spent two summers working on the East Coast preparing 3 banquets per day for 450 guests for 10 weeks. I am currently the Executive Chef of a fortune 500 company and oversee the foodservice operations for over 3,000 employees and 3 cafes Monday through Friday. I have been providing my personal services through this platform for over 3 years now. When I have the time, it is an excellent way for me to express my creative freedom on a more intimate level and provide service for clients searching for a fine dining experience while in the comfort of their own home. I have developed a shellfish allergy over the years and unfortunately cannot prepare it anymore. I am especially excited when it comes to making fresh pasta. I also love to prepare foods with Japanese and Spanish influence. I look forward to providing every one of my clients with a personalized and memorable evening full of good company and great memories.

    WOW! Where to begin?! My husband and I had hired a chef through a couple different companies in the past and expected mediocrity at best...CHEF TRAVIS BLEW OUR MINDS. He is AMAZING at his craft! We let him just come up with menu and went with it. I’m a picky eater and loved everything he served us. I tried new things and nothing was over salted. Chef really has a knack for creating exciting, flavorful dishes. One of the courses he served us was literally my favorite meal of MY LIFE. Chef Travis is a joy to have in your home, leaves your kitchen spotless and will serve you a meal that will knock your socks off!!!

    We had such a fabulous experience with Travis and would absolutely invite him again. He was on time with delicious food and was ready to serve when we were ready to eat. He was a pleasure to have in our home, conscientious with our kitchen and meticulous about clean-up. We couldn't even tell that he had been there! Food was DELICIOUS as well and he helped us pack up to-go boxes because portions were an awesome size. Couldn't recommend Travis more and would absolutely bring him back for another party.

    Chef Travis was AMAZING! He created such a memorable experience for my husbands 40th. The food was absolutely delicious & played so beautifully. He is extremely professional & left my kitchen spotless. He exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend using him as we plan to for future events.

    Chef Travis was amazing! Everything we ate was the best thing we have ever had and so unique. Not only was his food incredible but he was so nice as well. The flavor was just outstanding. We will be using him again and I highly recommend him.

    Chef Travis was amazing! He was so easy to work with. So accommodating. For the first time ever, I actually got to enjoy one of my own dinner parties! The meal was beyond expectation...complete silence for the first minute or so as everyone’s eyes rolled into the backs of their heads after that first taste, followed by a huge round of applause for our incredible chef! Chef Travis was very engaging and chatted with all our crazy guests. He was the hit of the party. I can’t describe the feeling of walking into a spotless kitchen at the end of the night.....all I had to do was turn off the lights and go to bed. Chef was amazing, the food incredible, the evening absolutely perfect. The bar has been raised for dinner parties among our group of friends. Well done Chef Travis!
